This blog documents a two-site homelab: a server room and office in one house, and a small apartment setup, both running Proxmox, Home Assistant and a pile of self-hosted services, with backups going each way. Posts cover what was built, what went wrong on the way, and what you can copy.
Everything here is written from the project notes kept while doing the work, with internal details (addresses, identifiers, credentials) removed. Where a number or a command matters, it is the real one.
Comments are the replies to each post’s announcement on Mastodon and Bluesky. There is no comment form: reply there and it appears here.
